Dave Shearer (1969)

I never got to meet you after the war, but where ever you are I want you to know that I feared no other Marine Sgt. like you, but would rather follow you to the very gates of hell if that was what was needed. I was just starting my tour when you were finishing your last tour. You left me with life lasting impression. RIP Marine. Semper Fi! Slim
